We are a private billing practice, which means that our services are privately billed to our patients. This means that you will have a gap payment (out of pocket expenses).

The gap payment is the difference between the rebate you receive from Medicare and the consultation fee charged by the Doctor.

Certain services may be bulk billed at the sole discretion of the doctor. Reception staff are not able to offer bulk billing unless instructed to do so by the doctor.

We do not bulk bill patients with a Commonwealth Seniors Health Card.

All Workcover/MVA consultations must be paid on the day if no accepted claim number has been provided. 

Payment is required on the day of the consultation and can be made by cash, EFTPOS or Credit Card (excluding Diners and AMEX cards). Workers compensation patients must provide a claim number each time they present for a consultation.

Your medical records

Our medical centre operates on an appointment basis. Our appointment system caters for urgent, non urgent, complex, planned chronic care and preventative healthcare. If you need more time with your GP, please arrange an extended consultation when booking your appointment. Please advise reception staff if you have more than one issue to discuss so the appropriate consultation time can be booked. Urgent appointments will be seen by the next available GP. Please advise reception if you believe you require an urgent appointment. Urgent appointments will be triaged by the nurse on duty. Health engine is our appointment portal

Your GP will try to take your call but may be away or busy with patients. Please let us know if it is urgent.

After Hours Healthcare is provided by DR Nyk Wolianksyj ring on 0885550433

If you are running late, please ring the centre to see whether it is possible to fit you in or to arrange another suitable time. Staff will do their best to help you and accommodate your needs. But being late may be unfair to other patients who would be made to wait. If you don't attend your appointment a cancellation fee may apply

Our practice values your privacy. At times, we may email you from our secure email system or practice software. You may also receive SMS messages if you have opted-in to receive them. Please note: to protect your personal information, we cannot accept patient email communication.

Depending on circumstances and considering the safety of all, nursing home and home visits may be provided to patients. Visits must take place during clinic hours and are at the discretion of the individual GP. If a home visit isn't appropriate, a telephone consultation may be offered as an alternative

You must make an appointment to get a medical certificate and, we regret they cannot be backdated. We also have an online medical certificate via health engine site

We may contact you via SMS, phone, and/or letter to discuss your results or to schedule a follow-up appointment. It is important to note that when we contact you via SMS or letter, we do so via our practice software systems. If a message includes “clinically significant”, please do not be alarmed. This means that your doctor has determined that it is important for you to return to see them promptly. To ensure we can contact you about your results or appointments, please advise our reception teams that you would like to opt-in to receive SMS communications and don’t forget to let us know if any of your contact information has changed.

Our medical centre complies with all confidentiality and privacy obligations. Please refer to our Privacy Policy or ask reception.

These must be done during a consultation with your GP. Repeat referrals are given at your GPs discretion and you may be charged a fee.

If you are a regular patient, telehealth services may be available. Telehealth services are at the discretion of your GP. Please contact the practice for more information.

Test results must be completed during a consultation with your GP. Only in rare cases can test results be done over the phone, at your GPs discretion.

For patients with language difficulties, a telephone translator service can be arranged by calling 131 450. Interpreting and Translating Centre (ITC): The South Australian government's ITC provides qualified interpreters for two and three-way phone interpreting. Medical practices can contact them at 1800 280 203 For patients with hearing difficulties, Auslan interpretors can be arranged by calling 1300 287 526. Please advise the receptionist if you think this might be needed.

This centre operates on an appointment basis. Walk-ins are accepted, however there may be an unavoidable wait as priority is given to patients who have a booked appointment with their GP.

At times you may experience a waiting period due to GPs tending to urgent or complex medical issues. We apologise for any inconvenience and appreciate your understanding.

COVID-19 Face mask Face masks are not required to attend the practice. Vaccination Requirements You are not required to be vaccinated against COVID to attend the surgery. Symptoms of an Infectious Illness If you have any symptoms of an infectious illness (cough, sore throat,runny nose, fever, cold or flu like symptoms, vomiting or diarrhoea) we can arrange to either do a telephone consult We are also able to do a COVID PCR test for you if this is indicated by your symptoms. Diagnosed with COVID- 19 – What Happens Now? If you are diagnosed with COVID-19 and believe you qualify for anti-viral medication please contact us on 85550433. We will arrange for a doctor to telephone you to assess your eligibility and provide you with a script for antivirals if this is indicated. If you are diagnosed with COVID and are concerned about your wellbeing, we are available to consult with you via telephone or face to face in our isolation room. COVID Vaccination Vaccines are readily available at SA Health Clinics, pharmacies and General Practices. Please click on the attached link to find the earliest appointment for your preferred vaccine.
